4” x 3” C24 Carcassing Timber is a robust, reliable structural timber created for supporting timber framing and construction work. Produced from premium softwood, it is kiln-dried and pressure-treated for added strength, stability, and long-lasting performance outdoors. Compared to C16, C24 carcassing timber is much stronger and structurally consistent, with fewer knots and imperfections, making it better suited to load-bearing uses.
Suitable for a wide range of structural tasks, C24 carcassing timber is ideal for timber framing, decking, roof and floor joists, external timber projects, and general building jobs where strength and stability are essential.
All of our C24 timber is kiln-dried for added moisture resistance and pressure-treated to support long-term outdoor performance. The pressure treatment helps to defend the timber from rot, fungal growth, and insect infestation, making it a practical choice for long-term use in demanding, exposed conditions.
